Legends of Boxing

"I flutter like a butterfly and sting like a bee" – these are the famous words of the most famous legend of boxing and the name of this legend is Cassius Clay. It was the name given by his parents and Muhammad Ali is a name he preferred. It is impossible to talk about the legends of boxing and not to mention this famous name and this famous boxer.

So, Mohammed Ali is the greatest boxer of all known. He had 56 fights during his boxing career and he won 51 of those. 37 fights of Cassius Clay were the fights finished with knockout of the adversary. Indeed, he is the greatest boxer and he is the real art of boxing, boxing is not a rough fight for him but an art and he always treated it like an art.

Jim Braddock is another legend of boxing though he is famous and immortal because of the peculiar fate of him but not because of the number of fights he won. There were actually only four of real fights he won and the forth was the main one. It was the fight against Max Bear and that was the champion fight. Jim Braddock won the fight and became a champion.

Though, he lost its title in the very next fight, but it was not a disaster for him because boxing gave him the thing he needed – monies to provide his family with everything necessary. The last fight was with Joe Lewis and it was the very last fight.
