The Weight Class

There is the classification of fighters and this classification is based on the weight of a fighter because the weight of blow depends on the weight if a fighter and people recognize as the unfair fight the fight between two fighters of extremely different weight, which is why there is the classification. It is different for professional and amateur boxing.
There are 17 weight classes for professional boxers and the names of those classes different for each world or international organization. So, from the lightest to the heaviest: strawweight (105 lb), light flyweight (108 lb), flyweight (112 lb), super flyweight (115 lb), bantamweight (118 lb), super bantamweight (122 lb), featherweight (126 lb), super featherweight (130 lb), lightweight (135 lb), super lightweight (140 lb), welterweight (147 lb), super welterweight (154 lb), middleweight (160 lb), super middleweight (168 lb), light heavyweight (175 lb), cruiserweight (200 lb), heavyweight (more than 200 lb).
And there are 11 weight classes of amateur boxing: light flyweight (47 kg), flyweight (51 kg), bantamweight (54 kg), featherweight (57 kg), lightweight (60 kg), light welterweight (64 kg), welterweight (69 kg), middleweight (75 kg), light heavyweight (81 kg), heavyweight (91 kg), super heavyweight more than 91 kg).
